Newbie...please help

i have recently discovered this site and i downloaded all the distorsion schematics...i've never made a "stompbox" as you call it...i i decided to start with the Muff Fuzz ...i've made the board where all the circuits should pe put...now my question is: is this schematic of the muff fuzz correct?...i just wanna make it cuz' it look the simplest...if anyone has anything to add to my first stompbox please tell me now before i put the circuits and make the enclosure...

when i started out, i had two projects that didnt work, because i just lacked the skills. this was very discouraging.

to keep you from having the same experience, i would suggest you check out the Beginner Project forum. it's simple, it's step-by-step, it's a great effect, and it WILL work.

i agree - and it is simple and has a low enough parts count that you won't have to sink a ton of time or money into it to discover if you enjoy the hobby.
