dr boogie 2 volumes 2 gains 2 footswitches 2 leds , wiring help?..

okay so this is what i have...gaussmarkov boogie layout. and ricks switching diagram..(thanks man)

but i just cant work out how to actually wire this to the pcb?..

can anyone join the dots for me please!...i'm sure this will be a lot of help to others too!!!...(or maybe just me.....i'm being a dumbass again!)

thanks guys!..btw i took the pcb gain pot off the pcb diagram, to reduce my confusion a little....

i presume i need 1x 3pdt and 1xdpdt to do this?... for on/off and double gain/vol switching...hmmmm....

The gain a volume pots are both wired with one of the outside lugs to ground, the signal goes into the other outer lug and comes out through the wiper.

So you remove the pots, figure out which wire is the one to ground and remove that. The wire that did go to the remaining outer lug goes to "...Pots input" on Rick's diagram, the wire that did go to the wiper goes to "...Pots Output". Attach ground on Rick's diagram to ground on the PCB somewhere.

I was confused too at the begining..... I was looking at the 3PDT, as I normally do, switching center/top center/bottom in this case is center/left center/right

Yes, having cross referenced to gaussmarkov (the things I do for you...) that looks correct. Bear in mind that each set of two pots are in parallel with each other, so it may affect the taper slightly, and will also half the resistance - ie resistors in parallel. It may be sensible to double the pot values for that reason. BTW, I've never tried this arrangement myself, just put it together for a friend who wanted to do it.

No, it's tried and tested, didn't even pop when switched.

I think the switch on the right is rotated 90º. Other than that i think it's OK.
