I'm interested in a ratshack sampler i have read about. Can these loop the sound? I really want to see some kind of schematic of one. Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Do a search for "ISD series", there was one posted 3 or 4 days ago.

the radioshack sampler[i posted in the other thread too.] can sample but it doesnt' loop without external parts.  and you have to remove the wires and solder in your own switches to make it function for a stompbox.

personally i liked it for mounting in the guitar and putting it on toggle switches and using it to run into a seperate amp. you can also mount it in a little box and run the switches out to your guitar and then when you record what you want you can remove it from your strap and plug it in to say a foot switch model.

if anyone wants to build the logic for the circuit you need this to make it loop.

hit play.  pulse one ignore pulse two repeat

TG said it could be done with a shift register and i almost had it done but i moved and put it in a box of crap to do later, i am having way to much fun with tubes rightnow.

After you gave me a better description I figured out a way to do it with just a couple flip-flops (i.e. 4013). I have the logic written out on paper somewhere. I didn't build it though to confirm that it worked. I didn't know if you wanted to continue with it so I left it alone.

If there is still some interest bug me in a week or so. I'm right now on day ten of cleaning up and re-organizing my shop.
