mutron phaser II

does anyone know is the rate pot on the mutron phaser II is linear or logrithmic? I know its a 25k pot. I found a 50k linear pot and reduced it down to 25k but i dont know if i need logrithmic or not.

I repalced the pot with a linear one and im not sure if its right.
