hi, i built an EATremolo, improved as in

http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/diagrams/eatrem2_lo.gif

http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/diagrams/eatrem2_sc.gif

i use these transistors:
Q1: 2N3904
Q2, Q4: BF244
Q3: BC549

but the effect doesn't work (no sound, a little buzz)!
the cause must be in these transistors... the other components are all right

are they equivalent, or are they different in collector-base-emitter and gate-source-drain?
please help...

j201 flat side down is G S D and the BF244 is S G D so your going to have to bend the pins around to make it work. You have to be really carefull, I have put small bits of insulation from stripped wires on the pins so they won't ever touch.

Here's a good link to find data sheets http://www.alldatasheet.com/
