As far as the rest of it, on Z.Vex's site he says that he replaces a resistor with a pot for the master volume.

hey thanks for answering...that drawing is a bit messy...wouldnt this work just fine?




so the master volume is replacing a resistor, ay? alright thanks. how can i determine what resistor regulates the total volume output?  any examples?
