true bypass loop pedal

if i wanted to make a true bypass loop pedal would i need any resistors, caps, transistors, diodes etc... or would i just use a dpdt switch to reroute the signal?

probably several DPDT.
1 4 looping.   1 4 truebypass.

thanks.  um, ive also got another question... i took apart my sears nova guitar amp, and found a jrc 4558d chip inside.  it has 4558d jrc 0066h printed on it, and i was wondering if this is worth anything?  ive seen people selling upgrade packages for ts9-ts808 wit this and a couple of resistors.

if you can find a suitable schmuck who wishes to part with large sums of money for that which is worth practically nothing, then all power to you.

My time is precious, and I imagine charging myself out at $50 an hour (AUD). So, by the time I'd pulled apart an amp, rendered it inopperative, placed an add on eBay, farted around with the auction winner, posted it, cashed a money order or similar... I'd be wanting at bare minimum $100 bucks for that little sucker. Ask yourself if it's really worth it.
