I'm needing to somehow affix a 4 way powerboard and a transformer (it's a big black Alesis tranformer for the Quadraverb GT with 240 volt cord out of one end and the din connector which goes into the Quadraverb out of the other end) to the inside of my wooden rack case.

It's a pretty standard rack case with the black carpet on it.

In the past, I've taken some aluminium and bent it to fit around these thing and then screwed them down directly into the wood.

I'm just wondering what other methods may be out there.

Any help much appreciated.

in my experience, the powerboard can be attached using the small "key holes" in the back of the power board. Then, you simply screw in a self-tapper or two against the body of the power board to hold it in securely.

I would perhaps suggest that you cable-tie the wall wart to the power board before attaching it inside the rack case.

my 2 cents.

If you have the space, then why not just get a Furman rack-mount power conditioner?
