I just went and tried to change a mod I did on my DD3, where I put a .1 cap across the level pot- I was gonna' change it to the feedback pot.  Anyway, after making the change I went to test it, and I got no effect.  I have a gig tomorow night, and I flipped out.  I checked everything, resoldered everything, measured, shook, banged, spent about two hours freakin' out.  Turns out that the wallwart that I use on my workbench must not have had the right juice or somethin', because after reading an old post that said something along the lines of the DD3 needing a certain amount of juice, I switched bcak to the normal power source I usually use, and bam theres the delay.  Man, that was crazy!  I get scared whenever I mess with something, and I was thinkin' I was gonna have to go buy a new delay.  I would build one but I do not have the time before my next gig.  Anyway, long story short, why does this happen, anybody know (the power difference and effect working or not?) Thanks!!

I have a similar thing that happens with my Arion SAD-1 analog delay. Delay pedals use a lot of juice, and with mine, it won't even work with certain adaptors because of that.

I have teh exact same problem. My PSU only works when I plug it through my clean power supply thingy (LM chip etc from Generalguitargadgets). The pedal just outputs the straight signal otherwise. I guess the supply needs to be rectified since the DD3 doesn't have internal power smoothing.
