ok heres the deal i have my EPI les paul with stock humbuckers but i wanna try wiring them in series instead of the stock PARALLEL wiring that u get in the middle position of the PICK UP switch, can that be done? how?, wiring the BRIDGE's HOT to the volume, BRIDGE's ground to NECK's HOT and NECK's GROUND to "GROUND",, is that the right way?/ thanks alot u guys!, MERRY @#$%ING CHRISTMAS!!!!

You might want to consider some sort of toggle or push/pull pot for that wiring. For many people, the stock config. is a very versatile setup. Many shades by varying the two volume controls with selector in the middle posistion. There are a lot of wiring diagrams at the Seymour Duncan site. You might find one that has series/parallel switching. FWIW- I never found series humbuckers to be very useful, and it tended to turn to mud. If you have the coils split, something like one coil from each pickup in series might have more general utility. YMMV

Hi

(got an epi myself)

When it comes to wiring I only need to remember one site for

any guitar pickup or switching combination!

Have a look and tell me afterwards if you felt I was pretentious
