Hey guys, i don't get to post here much, as i'm a moderator in another forum in another web-site, gots a family, all the boring mushy stuff; However, youse guys have helped me out a bunch, so i decited to give something back to you  :wink:

MXR Distortion plus mods:

Stock:  Lacks gain, and flabby sounding

Modded:  Razor like fuzz, Louder, all around better pedal....

Let's get down to buisness:

-Replace 4.7K Fixed resister with a 10K trim pot
-Replace the fuzz control (said 470K on it) with a 1M potentiometer
-Replace volume control (said 47K) with 250K-500K
-Replace the diode section with: Silicon 1N914's  AND an AMZ saturation control.  i used a 100K pot.  For more info:  http://www.muzique.com/lab/sat.htm

It actually has sustain now  :lol: !
