guitar needs tone control

how to i install one? i have a volume pot and a 3 way switch, what parts do i need to install a tone knob?

another pot and a capacitor. do a google search for "guitar tone control install"

All you need is a pot (250k is usual on a strat) with a .02uf cap going from lug 1 to ground. Lug 2 goes to the output wire....the one going to your jack tip.  This will control the whole steup(any pickup combo).  If you only wanna control one pickup...lug 2 goes to your switch.  Take a look at the diagram at the bottom of this page:  http://www.guitarnuts.com/wiring/stockstrat.php
You'll also need a soldering iron & solder...perhaps a drill if there is no hole already.  Lots of info also at kinman.com

not finding it. anyone just have one offhand? i need it for a double fat strat, 3 way switching, i just want tone on the bridge.
