Getting in over my head - box design

So im trying to design a ABY box .. more of a mixer than a switch though. I have a notion of two opamps(OA) running with 'virtual ground' (so I can use my std 9v supply). Each would be 'inverting' with the resistances from input and from the (OA)Vout to (OA)Vin(-) set equal. The outputs from each would be fed into the 1 and 3 legs of a 25K linear pot with leg 2 going to Vout for the box.

What has me feeling overwhelmed:
1)picking values for the capacitors at the two (box)Vin
2)do I need capacitors at (OA)Vout before it goes to the pot?
3)for the Vcc/2 (OA - virtual ground) - what values for the two resistances of the 'voltage divider'. I know they will be equal - but at what?

I know there is some good math available to figure out these values. Unf my math career ended ~20 years ago when I got my BA. Unf ** 2 - that BA was in literature ( ).

Can anyone shed light on this? Links for the math?

not sure if this is entirely helpful, but have you checked out the Mini-Mixer?  I think its an RG Creation, and its at GGG.

Hope that helps!
