Hi all,
Especially you guys at Tonepad!
Just a few minutes ago I stumbled across a page where they had inside shoots of all the HBE boxes and I noticed that they just used exactly the Tonepad Layout!
Just wanted to let you know if you didn't!

A friend had a compressor from the same company and it was done on perfboard. Kind of shitty looking, actually, the edges on the perfboard were kind of ragged.
It sounded good, much less squashy than a dynacomp.
I think they tried to figure out how to waste as much space on your pedalboard as possible. They put the BB box sideways, then side-mounted jacks? I'm just a big believer of top-mounted jacks.
It's possible that HBE is licensing the layouts from Francisco.

Look at this:

I've got a bad feeling that that's JD's EA mod.

that compressor:
looks very similar - yes - but definitely re-drawn...
(i.e.: no copyright problem...)
