Hi!
What started out as a Rev.3 build ended as a Rev2.
In my setup i like the sounds of the 1uF input cap and i found that the 0.047 took of some of the sparkle that i really like.
I ended up using a  2n 2219 with a gain of 108 in Q1 and another 2n2219 with a gain of 120 in Q2.
The sound cleans up very good with a volume roll back on the guitar.
It really goes from cleanish to overdrive to distortion to fuzz.
A  great device to own.
Thanks a lot Philip!

I had a funny experience with my build. I breadboarded with the 1uf input cap and I thought it sounded muddy with my strat. I pluged in my input cap selector box and fiddled while I played and ended up with a .22uf like Philip was thinking of. So I figure 1uf in series with .22uf should = .18uf .... .22 close enough... I etch my board, populate it,  put in an old dunlop fuzz box, fire up my old marshall and it sounded TERRIBLE. Luckly I used sockets for that cap. I put the 1uf back in and in series with my .22uf and it sounds wonderful... wtf??? Mathmatically it should work but sonically it doesn't.....
