Yes, but they're those humbucking P-90 types called P-100s. The noise in the clips is from my computer monitor.

Nice work.
The Axis is right up there with the Face, IMO. :D
What delay effect did you use on the recordings?  DIY?
cheers

aN  AT favorite of mine. I used an SB Ge for Q1 and a 47k trimpot for Q2's emitter [instead of the 39k]...sounds Very Axis like your clips, great clips by the way...my pickups are differnt I'm pretty sure though, you'rs sound like Hot Buckers RDV, Brighter sounding than My PAF or Split coil Neck Dimarzio's.
Very nice expression of how the GuitVol Rolloff works, from almost a plain guitar sound    [with bite if you hit harder] to Fierce Fuzz...
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

Thanks!
That's my 20 year old Digitech PDS1002. I replaced all the opamps(TL062CP) with OPA2134, and it's sounding pretty good these days. My Axis cleans up better than any other FF I've got(including 2 Ge variety).

Love all the clips you've posted lately. It's a great tool/barometer on what to build or not to build or whether to build and tweak. Nice!

RDV, I see you mention the OP2134's a few times and you put them in your latest/final versions of your HMP. I just ordered a batch out of curiosity. Are they reall a big difference IYO? Are they still being produced in big quantities since Burr Brown was bought by TI?

They're very nice stable high fidelity OAs. They were selected to run the EQ section on the HMP because they didn't oscillate. I've got an RC4558 in the clipping section though.
