G'day Guys,

Been a while since I've had the time to do effects pedals, moved 2 years ago and bought a farm - silly me! Never enough time in the day, but at least the guitar playing has increased. You can play as loud as you want whatever the time of day!

Anyways, I had a thought on building some type of rack or large box to put all the effects I'd built over the years (and the ones yet to complete for the future), instead of putting them in individual boxes.

So, what I wanted to have was a single unit, with universal jacks (in and out for the guitar and to the amp) so that the board just plugs in, this gives each board power, input and output to a main bus system that can have any number of effects on, and they just go in series to each other when they're on together.]

Has anybody seen anything like this in their years of effects building experiences? I can vaguely remember an effects book from around 1975-1980 that had something like this

Any ideas greatly appreciated!

Cheers

Pete
