...spray on truck bed liner...ugly as can be, tough as nails....nice super-durable pedal finish !!!!  so far ive only found black, but theres gotta be colors available, right ?

im afraid i "understated" the "tough as nails" part...i just took the bottom of a pedal that id sprayed and started BEATING ON IT with a wrench...i couldnt get it to chip !!!!!

yep...gonna keep using this stuff :)

RDV

Yeah, just spray it on, then pull out the box, and line the thing with tinfoil.

HELL, THATS TOO MUCH WORK :)

Im using the spray can version...spray your regular enclosure (outside only), let it dry a bit, and youre done !!!!

That's very good stuff for DIY enclosures....

Another good thing is the Rust-Oleum Hammerite and metallic finishes...they really don't wear off easily, and they look real nice!

i like tha hammerite as well, but so far this stuff seems to be MUCH easier to get a nice even coat (which is still textured, like hammerite), is "workable" a lot quicker than hammerite, and you can use paint marker over top of it (for marking, decorating, etc) without any paint compatibility issues (at least so far).....

smells bad though when youre spraying/drying it though :)

Has anyone ever tried using Mopar black wrinkle paint?  It seems like that would work well.  You can get it at auto parts stores.

Just wondering.

Convention creates following, following creates convention.

That's damned sexy.  But can it be labeled?  I'm guessing not so much?

it was about $8 at the auto parts store....ive done about 9 or 10 pedals with this first can, so its pretty cost effective.

Can you spray paint (enamel) over the top of the bed liner stuff??

i thought about that....making a stencil for the lettering, and simply spraying it....but i havent tried it yet. should work, as paint markers are fine.

i wouldnt use the enamel simply as a "color" change from the black, as it defeats the purpose of the bed liner in the first place...a tough, super chip resistant finish....and paint on top of that would still chip.
