What you got to work with?
Pot doesn't increase input resistance when it's turned toward the 'top' capacitor IIRC...
Schem, pot your working with...would make it easier to decide what to type to help

I remember reading about this somewhere. Could you tell me what I need to do to try this? Thanks

It's from Joe Gagan's EZ face W/input blend Mod...try GGG or links...

This isn't the same thing as the "hendrix mod" in the Geofex article "technology of the FF"?

Nope, don't think so...it's basically an extra cap and a pot at the input, signal goes through the bigger cap more when the pot makes it easier for it to do so with the pot being a V/R IIRC.

BramcoteLorne

it's basically the mayer mod, but it's got a 1k pot for the gain instead of a 2k one (I just didn't have any 2k's)

I've got - 1k 4.7k 10k 47k 100k and 470k

Is that a linear pot?

What would happen if I used an audio.

I would try it but I don't have one :)

But I can get a 20 lot for a good price.
