Another Russian design. Compressor-overdrive.

The original design is on the last page. R13 is the control between pure compression and compressor-overdrive kinda sound. All other potentiometers are obvious. VT1 should be a low noise type, could possibly be substituted by a J-fet. Shunt clipping diodes type is unspecified, but I guess it's silicone. OA - any, he doesn't specify if it's fet or bjt input.
The guy also has two other commercially available compressors and analyses their circuits as well, before inroducing his own design.

Thanx for the link, I try to use babelfish for the text. DoD and MXR mentioned... if someone had dod fx80b schem it would be popular in finland...

There was that talk "How does that transistor in dr quack work" or something at weekend, and if I see right the last one schem has bipolar tranny used in compressor...
