I have recently aquired a Rotovobe board but need a pic of the guts in terms of the wired and where they go- connect from the board to pot to switch. I guess theres no schematic to be found from searching archive.

I know someones got some pics out there or can make some... :D  Id really appreciate it.

thanks

jim

Not a photo. This is what was on mine:

I have a suspicion the pots were switched, but never fooled with it enough to find out for sure.

You said the pots were switched? It still works/worked the way its shown though?

Sorry, it's been so long ago I tried it. It did work. I can't remember why I thought the pots were switched. Maybe the treadle was controlling intensity instead of speed?

Mine is just a pcb in a box now. Perhaps someone else will take a peek inside of theirs?

Its a little blurry, but my camera ran out of batteries, so I couldn't take a better one.  The wiring loom is labeled.

if you've got any specific questions about the wiring of the top pot, I'd have to pull it apart to look at the otherside of the circuit board,

Ooops.  I mislabeled the pot to the left.  It should be 7, 6, 8 from top to bottom (looking at the back)

Interesting. My board looks different. Mine has a TL074 running straight up at where yours has the 8 pin chip. My footswitch only has 2 leads and there is no trimpot hole on that pcb.

Now I see why I suspected the pots on mine are switched. The wah pot is supposed to be mounted to the pcb, and mine has leads running from those pads to the other pot.

Guess there are two different versions of that effect. Hope yours sounds better than mine!

jimbob

even mine looks different than that. Odd..I wonder how many versions there areof this thing.

Thats a shame.   Mine has REV-B stamped on the pcb by the geared pot.

I guess worst case scenerio is that i buy one new- take pics- and send it back.  then share with EVERYONE.
