Dimensions of EH Transformer

I have the footprint of the EH transformer from General Guitar gAdgets, but I can't figure out how deep it is?  Can you fit one in a 1590BB?

Also, can someone explain VA to me?  What does the number mean and how do you figure out how big a transformer you need?

you need to know how much current the circuit consumes
at which supply voltage.
