Rangemaster with switchable input caps, and a TS-808 in one box. Didn't paint it because the guy I built it for tends to scratch up his pedals pretty bad. I'm very happy with the sound of the pedal; I like paint, but the clearcoated alum. doesn’t look too bad (the camera flash makes it look scratchier than it appears in regular light).

Two nice circuits in one handy box.  Brilliant!

Just "water slide" decal paper (like the stuff that comes with model cars) printed on with a laser printer. I get it on eBay. Steve at Small Bear might carry it as well, not sure.  It works well. I've done pedals with pretty large graphics (this for example: http://www.radawich.com/Pedals/SuperBee.jpg ) and gotten good results.

The 2 circuits do work well together. I'm amazed at the "stock" rangemaster input cap. It's so trebley! Using the switchable input caps, the second "mid" setting sounds much more ideal to me.

I like it. It's kinda got that Z. Vex Vexter feel.  8)

Looks great !!
Useful combo, do you use the boost to "push" the 808 some more? or just as a separate fx . . .

The combo together works really well. Boosting the 808 gets some great higher gain tones. It's also great for going from a rhythm to lead tone, esp. with the mid cap setting on the rangemaster.

Thanks for the feedback guys, it's always nice to hear back from fellow builders... Otherwise, all I get is "It looks pretty!" from my girlfriend!

iF the RAngemaster is PNP Pos Gnd. how did you handle having pos gnd and Neg Gnd in the same box?

I built the Neg. ground version of the Rangemaster. The person I built it for uses a boss tuner with the power supply, and daisy chain for power to his other pedals, so it was really the only way to go (at least with my limited knowledge).
