is there a way to make a decent tremolo out of a lm386 ? or other 386 derivative?

i know that there is a schematic for a ruby amp trem. somewhere, but i dont want it in an amp format, but a pedal format....

If you're just trying to build a really simple tremolo, I built a robovox from munky's site http://www.geocities.com/diygescorp/, and used bigger caps for a simple, cool tremolo effect.

Well, there's a way to build a tremolo with a LM386, but the 386 will be only a preamp. You will need a oscillator (a 555 helps a lot here) to get a blinking LED, and a LRD, to get the signal only when the LED is blinking.
