Boss DM-2 problem

I've been asked to repair a Boss delay that has a ringing noise on the delayed signal at longer delay times. I think it is probably clock wine getting through but I want to be certain before I go any further. My own DM-2 has the same symptoms so if there is a fix I could improve two pedals for the cost of one question.

If I am correct I think the two possibilities are live with it or alter the filter cutoff frequency. Assuming the owner is willing to live with the consequences of lowering the filter cutoff frequency (less fidelity on the repeats, correct?) can someone point me to the capacitor to change.

Or if I'm completely wrong and there is another solution that would be okay too.

Maybe it needs recalibration...

You'd probably need special tools for that, though...

Rick,
If the whine changes pitch when you very slowly rotate the delay knob, it is  clock whine. It might be that the clock rate trimpot is set too low in freq, so the filter isn't as effective at max delay time, or that the clock null trimpot needs adjustment.
