Hi everybody, Im trying to find out how to build a small tone control circuit that can attenutate the high low and midrange on a signal.  Is it possible with a capacitor resistor/capacitor to make band/hi/low pass filters? Thanks for your answers friends.

Download the *Tone Stack Calculator* from

www.duncanamps.com

It will allow you to experiment with a number of common tone control circuits to tailor them to your needs. Also study the runoffgroove.com JFET *amp sim* type circuits to see how tone controls are implemented in those.  Keep in mind passive tone stacks eat up some gain, so you need to allow for that either before or after the tone control stage.
