HERE IS THE LISTO OF PARTS :

LM386 (1)
0.001 UF CAP
10 UF POLAR CAP
100K POT

BUT THIS BOOSTER KILL THE GUITAR OR BASS SUSTAIN.......

ANY IDEA HOW TO PUT MORE SUSTAIN ?

Not much to go wrong there, 10uf cap in backwards maybe?
For a mod. you could put a SPST switch on pins 1 and 8, that will raise the gain so you will have clean and dirty.

yeah i use SPST in a mod , but i don't like the gain hehe....

I've been searching for a sustain killer for a while now. Can anyone tell a mod that would turn it into a clean non-boosting sustain killer stompbox?

I mean, for really killing off the sustain. Beatles "Twist and shout" style hollowbody sustain. :D

This is my schematic. I built it like I drew the schematic, and got a good sustain. I tried it again in my breadboard today, and works OK. Check your connections. About a sustain killer, I don't have any idea. I know that the Jaari kills sustain. Maybe if you build one, increase the bass in the effect and use a volume booster?
