Help fixing a TS7

Hello,

I've got a dead ibanez TS7. Althought its layout and housing is clearly designed by the devil himself, I've decided to give it a try.

The unit doesn't do anything, not a sound comes through, and the led isn't working either. Where could the problem be, perhaps the input buffer is broken? How do I test, for example, if a transistor works or not?
