Does changing tube in Tonebone Classic make any difference?

I was wondering if anybody here ever changed the tube in their Tonebone Classic, did it make any audible difference?

I've heard people say that since the Tonebone's tube runs at such a low voltage that the tube doesn't really matter and that it's there mostly for window dressing. What do you guys think?

As a guess yes

12AX7 high gain
12AT7 lower gain

try a 5687 tube

Sorry ocelot, but I have to call bullshit on that!!!!!
Maybe you are getting the numbers mixed up with the 7247, but the 5687 uses a different pinout altogether that the 12ax7 series. Also, even if the pinout were the same, the current demands are much greater than anything in the 12ax7 series, both in high voltage current and heater current.
Hate to be a little brutal here, but this mistake could screw up somebodies pedal etc.

For the record, even Radial Engineering(tonebone maker) says the tube doesn't matter much.
