The unit I am looking for is a on-off-on unit with two small metal ears-threaded holes on each ear for mounting-here is the stumbling block-the one I require also has a piece of approx 1/4" roundstock as the actuation handle.Can anyone help?

What's it for? Does it have to have the bat, or can you use a standard rocker? Did you try the usual Mouser, Digikey search?

Yes I looked at all avenues-the switch portion must reside below the mtg, area and the "bat" is actually the 1/4" aluminum rod which protrudes through  a slotted hole-The switch is used on a Multivox effect
