I've got some nkt275 that has S1 on them and a metal flange.

Are these NOS or more modern ones.

What should people now when buying NOS germs?

I'm sure I read somewhere that "true" older trannies dont have the "lip" on the "hat" if you get me, they are quite straight on top with no little
"flange" either .... god anyone reading this would have me locked up for
being "a disgusting perv"  !!!
Check out Jacques site at www.ts808.com  he's the master of this stuff and
I may well have read it there.

I have a bunch of NOS germanium transistors that have a flange/lip on the bottom.  Most date in the late 60's and 70's.  2N1309's and 2N1305's from the 70's mostly.  I have never seen a NKT275 with a lip, though.  Even the new stock stuff is straight.
