I am really excited about Keiths new DIY Ross Clone kit  :D .  I am definitely going to purchase one!

However, I would really like to add an internal attack control to it and I was wondering if this would be a hard thing to do?

Also, I was wondering if it would be worth it to purchasing metal film resistors instead of the carbon comp. ones that I think it comes with.  If it won't make a big difference in extra noise I will just use the ones provided.

Thanks for all of your help!  :D

If you look in the "Layouts Gallery" in my folder (Steve C) you'll find the schematic for the Boss CS-2 which has an "attack" knob, which is really more like a decay.  Anyway, you'll see what to do from there.

Dyna/Ross has attack knob IIRC...

Hey,
Thanks for the link Steve!  Hopefully I can figure it out :)

I don't think the kit has an internal attack :/  here is the website of the kit I am going to order :

Do the transistors really need to be matched like they are in this kit?
