strange idea...for an amp maybe?

ok last night i was just messing around with some of the cmoy headphone amps that ive made in little altoids tins

and ended up plugging my guitar into a crude early version that i made, and plugging that into a more refined version that incorporates an acoustic simulator circuit and that into my headphones.  upon rolling the guitars volume back i discovered the most pristine clean sound ive ever come across!  today i plugged it into a speaker to find its volume quite unnacceptable at clean levels, and it got me to thinking.  would it be possible to piece together a simple amplifier around this that would put out some serious sound?  i was thinking on adding some sort of power amp section, but im nto experienced with amps and dont know where to start or whats even possible.  could anyone give me some tips?
