Potentiometer help

Hi!

What does <KA> and <KB> stand for??

and shall it always be an log potentiometer when it shall control volume?

im sitting on a bunch of stompbox schematics and planning to build a fuzzbox, but don't know what to order.... KA and KB makes me dizzy :?

There should/will be a number before the KA or KB.

Example: If it says 100KA, it's 100K Log or Audio taper.  If it says 100KB, it's 100K Linear taper.

I use Omeg from england and many of their values corrospond with standard resistor values like2.2k, 4.7k, 22k and so forth. With theses pots however at least the ones I use the A refers to linear law resistance tracks and B refers to logarithmic law resistance tracks. Some are different but most = log (A) lin (B)... pl

And ___KC is Reverse Audio taper.  You run across those in some circuits, too

I forgot that Phillip. What I would give for a reverse log 100k pot with bushings sustantial enough to mount on a crybaby/vox type pedal.
