The Blackfire and VooDoo are in my vero layouts if interested.

Recorded "flat" through a Marshall JMP-1 clean channel.
Again "shrunk" quite a bit, but the sound quality seems good, somemore
tomorrow......

Were those done through a cab sim?

The cab sim is part of the JMP-1, it has power amp outputs and speaker sim outputs.
I think its based on the "Palmer" cab sim and works very well.

No, its a Yamaha AE820, which has dual humbuckers but there's a knob to select a "split" single sound, very "strat" like ( including the hum! )
BTW its a great gtr  
I agree, the JMP-1 is a fabulous pre-amp !
