Just wanted to share with you guys a guitar that we just completed as a giveaway for the after prom party for our High School next weekend. The kids win fake money at various games, etc and then participate in an auction, "buying" donated items.

The scallops, lettering, and all "pinstriping" were done in vinyl and cut on a computer vinyl cutter. These were all covered in Urethane clear (although painted in a garage, so there are imperfections). The engine turn covers/pickguard are also a vinyl covering. You can't really tell from the photo, but the white is actually a pearl white and the pinstripe is a metallic copper (Along with gold on the back). It turned out very well I think for a "home job".

The kids have really seemed to like the guitars the last three years. To give you an example, last year CD players / DVD players went for $300 - The guitar went for $9600! (yea...fake money.. :D )

Wow!  Now that is cool.  I love them both, but the flame job is the best.
