External Speaker for Ruby Question

Is this as simple as a mono output jack + to tip and - to ring
or do I need another kind of jack?
By the way this is an awesome little project plan on making
a few more and trying diff enclosures and speakers

Yes it is.  Have fun, I really like my Ruby too.

BTW, you should use speaker cable instead of instrument cable from the Ruby to your speaker(s)
