1st thing I've built in like 2 months. Works really great with FFs and makes the wah sound really full and strong overall. The only down side is increased noise, which also made me realize I never put a pulldown on the wah circuit as it was only about the 2nd thing I'd ever built about 3 years ago.

Anyways, thanks to Gez in London.

Glad you like it.  I've never built this (I've only recently re-assembled my wah, its having lain about the place in a state of 'undress' for a period of 10 years!) but I'm surprised that it's noisy.

Is it that it accentuates the noise inherent in the FF, or does it add noise to all effects?  If the latter, then there might be a fix.

You can take an output from the MOSFET's source too, for 'low' impedance.

I don't think the buffer itself is noisy, but rather it's amplifying the noise that was already there in my sloppy little perf wah circuit build, especially the switch pops that were already present. The wah is no longer buried in our mix. Highly recommended.

how does this buffer compare with the one at the fuzz central site???
i would like to add one to my thomas organ wah

thanks ......

I'm not sure how they compare, but I built the fuzzcentral version yesterday and i think it is great.

I didn't build the runoffgroove version.
