What effect do they use for that new Sea Doo commercial?

I'm watching, ok listening, to TV while I'm working on some fx projects I never finished and the commercial for the new '3d' sea doo came on.  If you haven't seen it or don't know what I'm talking about, click the link below to download the commercial.  The effect I'm talking about begins at 14 seconds.

Thanks,

It's people like us who contribute to dead fx pedals selling on eBay for what they'd cost new!

Sounds like good old fuzz to me, with the neck pickup,  and maybe the tone control rolled down.

I'm going to guess Big Muff.

If I had a guess... I woulda say a semi-hollow with P90s through a 'boo teek' fuzz into a... Vox-type amp?

That'd be my first crack at that tone at least...

OOPs... just reread and you're talkin about the 'lead' kinda sound.  That sounds more like a semi-hollow with humbuckers... neck position...  fuzz box... into a little fender with the bass up and the treble down... a little rolled off of the tone knob.

Probably neither are correct. :-)

I was going to guess Big Muff as well. I don't recognize the song offhand, but don't discount some sort of digital fuzz model on a Pod or GT-x.
