Hi guys,

I have a problem with my Small Stone (Russian made). I read Technology, but i still cannot figure out what is wrong. I did a search, but came up with nothign with similar problems.. so here goes:

I added a JFET buffer at the input jack of my small stone. After installing it, it was working fine.... then I screwed the screws in, now the phaser seems to be at maximum rate.

I took the circuit out of the box again, disconnected the JFET buffer by jumping the JFET out of the circuit. Same problem remains.

I checked if the rate pot was shorted, which might cause the max. rate... but it was not the problem.

Anyone can help?

thanks a bundle.

yours,
george

any leads.. that's all i ask.

thanks!

george

de-solder one of the wires to the rate-pot;
if it still runs fast,
check again, if there`s a tiny solder-"bullet" or a tiny piece of wire on the copper-side of the PCB (or a longer piece of wire on the component side) that doesn`t belong there...

See if the screws are shorting the NEW part of the circuit :wink:
