can I increase the sensibility of the "touchcontrol" circuit from nuts & volt,

Hi,

I built the touchcontrol, http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y64/earthstandstill/touchcontrol.gif to control a effect ( delay pot for example that I replace by a ldr).
I'am wondering if it possible to increase sensibilty, increase the distance between my hand and the plate control, because the touhcontrol works only If we touch the plate.

thanks

I wouldn't have thought so, since it's a touchcontrol. You need a theremin control!

Theremins typical run in the audio range which means noise in the signal chain so a theremin might not be the best option literally.

My thought on the circuit, ewww inductor. Me no like.
