LPB2 Boost at end of signal chain

I've started putting a LPB2 boost at the end of my signal chain.
My chain can either go through all my other pedals or go through none (true by pass) until the LPB2. (this is a feature I will not comprimise on - that is I'd get rid of the LPB2 first)

If I by true by pass the pedals my signal is very bassy.

If I don't and go through my pedals, particularly my Dano chorus - the only non true by pass pedal - the signal has a much flatter EQ.

How can I get this "flatter" sound when I am in true by pass mode? Without screwing with my sound too much.

Thanks!!

Sounds like you need a unity gain buffer at the beginning of your effects chain. This will help preserve the highs and give you a more "full range" sound. At least one of your pedals, probably the Dano, has a buffer built in.

Any suggested schematic? Are the 2 on general guitar gadgets ok? thanks!

The GGG buffers are based on info from Jack Orman (www.muzique.com) -- an excellent source of info. These schems should work fine. Suggest you read Jack's Basic Buffers text:

Good luck!

When you say "bassy" or "flat", by comparison to what?  Have you tried just plugging into the LPB2?  Have you compared that to plugging straight into the amp?
