how to read cap values

how guys i was wondering how to read cap values. i am a total noob to all of the electronics. i wanted to do a mod to my guitar using a 0.001uF. i dont know how to read these to do the mod. any help would be appreciated

dude, no offence, but this topic has been done to death, buried, exhumed, whipped with chains, buried again, exhumed again and burnt then the ashes were thrown into the wind!
