hey guys ever witnessed this:

When I switch to bypass it's all ok. Touching the signal pin on the output jack gives aggressive blopping and humming as we all know it. When I switch the effect on, nothing can be heard and as I touch the output pin on the jack nothing is heard neither!!! VERY strange... As soon as i pull the plug out of the jack the humming and blopping is back again.

1. Maybe the jack is grounded when the effect is switched on but that's is very strange as I checked it and even when grounded you should get some touch humming.

2. The switch cannot be broken since that would mean the same humming and blopping without the switch

Any help please?

Hi,
It sounds like the signal is not reaching the output jack for some reason.Either the switch is not working right, or the guitar signal is getting lost in the board somewhere.Check the switch with your meter to see if it's working right, or go straight into the board from the input jack without the switch involved to see if that's the problem.

Hope this helps.

Haha!

Would you know!
I swapped the 10k trimmer with another 10k pot (not a trimmer but that's a detail) and now it's just fine!
I've noticed a huge amount of hiss and oscillation, which is mostly reduced with the collector to collector cap trick. I used a 47pf one, which i had "in my pockets". Still the 100pf should be still better I guess.
