Does anyone know what a good subsitiute for an MC1496 is?

Paul Perry (Frostwave)

NJM1496 (mouser) or LM1496 (Nat Semi). Forunately, ON Semi are making the MC1496 now, and they are less than a buck (at Jameco for example).
Or, you could pay ten times as much for the NTE1496

Rockby in Melbourne Australia has them at a couple of bucks:

Cool, the ringmods increase by one more. How long have Rockby had these. I remember looking not long ago, but maybe I was only looking for a 1495.
