MartyMart

www.banzaieffects.com     under "parts" then "chips" then "misc"
They are â,¬29.50  each though  !!!! that's about 35 bucks .....

You may find similar/alternate chips here, seems a little expensive ??

BONZAI!!!!!!
I found some locally that are about half that.  I thought I was getting reamed.  I guess I am, but it could be worse.  Why are these chips so rare?  They seem widely used in delays, compressors, etc.

Thanks for the lead!

don`t mistake with similar chips: NE571 / NE572 (under 3â,¬)...

Are the NE570's better, or just obsolete?

$5.95 at SmallBear!

Some good news: OnSemiconductor are making them.
Some bad news: the OnSemi ones are surface mount :x  :x

Steve must have reduced his price on the NE570, last time I looked it was up at the 30 dollar mark.....

NE570 is a little bit better re: noise than the 571, and is same pinout.  NE572 is better in several other ways, but is a different pinout.  SA571=NE571, SA570=NE570

Are the parts at small bear DIPs or SMTs?  Does the prefix (NE vs SA) refer to packaging?  BTW, thanks for all the info.  This forum is great!

NE / SA is manufacturer-specific only...
