Shot, my McTube mod went into the ditch...

Tried to make the McTube remote switchable and boy was I a failure..Used a miniture solid state relay  wired like you would a dtdt switch to switch the output and the led ..Hum and interference got me bad. Took the relay out, went back to a dtdt switch and every thing worked fine..How about it Peter,R.G., or anyone else,  got any suggestions on how to remotly switch the effect on and off? Remember, got to keep the tube hot.

shouldn't the signal be buffered before the relay?
