There is a french website (which will remain anonymous) that documents building a Fuzz Factory clone. I wonder if this is the same cat, or someone using that PCB layout available theree to make these "clones"?

The fuss on this board is that there's a , more or less, agreement that no ZVex stuff which could lead to building clones will be published.Mr. Vex's does not wich this to happen since clones can lead to less sales which he as well as his employees will feel in their income.

Going further into the discussion when comparing to, for example, tubesceamers and their clones is a wasps nest and tends to become a very hot and explosive discussion on this forum.

I know which French website you are referring to... and the sound samples DO NOT inspire me to build one. I've never played any of Zvex's stuff, so I dont know if thats how they're supposed to sound, but even as easy a build as that looks to be... I wont be building it. But it is a pretty good build report and photo essay.
My next project is a Pickled BMP.
