Question about layouts

Ok, I am trying to figure out what the red/white square with the diamond in the center represents on the layouts. I stumped on this one...lol!

That's a break in the trace if you're looking at veroboard layouts.

Ok. That makes sense now.  Yes I was looking at veroboard layouts. My first build I laid out myself and did alright. Man I was impressed with the layouts after I saw them. Great work you guy's have done on those. Much appreciated. Cant wait to try some.
