Hi,

I have a broken DS-1 at home and one of the transistors are broken, I would like to know what I could replace it with.  The problem is that I lost the transistor so I don't know which one it is, so any help you could give me would be really appreciated... I don't have the schematic either... heheh... sorry.  Anyway, thanks for any help you can provide.

arent the transistors just used for the switch...?

::checks schematic::

nope.  2 are used for switching, but the others arent.  Q6-8 are FETs, the rest are bipolar NPN...house numbered, but all the same.  2n5088 or 2n3904 should work.  Which one is bust?

hopefully someone smarter than me will post soon :-D.
